not sure to explain how the code-source for the map runs

but for users, it very simple :

you have just from your side to manage/create a map "white"with using the second link given in previus post, linked this map with our forum http://oneidabows.net/forum give a name at this map... and a description...

after you will obtain a link for the "oneida bow owners", and people have to click on this link to create an account for this map with informations about them, location only or more... it seems near a communauty...

after people already registered could see informations shared by the others guys registered, and simple visitor can only see location and name in the map...

is it clear for you now ? (sorry about my explication and french-english)...

If I reminder like owner of the map could himself add people with name an location in the map without asking people to create their account, but I'm not sure... But I'm sure you could yourselft create an account for everybody (with only forum name of people and location) to add them in the new map...

Hi JMG, we have someone working on this. We are looking to have a map showing the locations. Then those interested can contact us and we can give their info to the members listed.

for us in france, for our forum, it's very happy to check if there is any one of the forum leaving some where when we are on holidays travel or work travels too...

just meeting somebody in the real life(instead only with the forum) around a drink or a diner...

I tried a different approach. I just made a map in google maps! This works quite nice. It's easy to ad more Oneida owners. It's a good alternative.
