It's only 56 days until the archery deer season opens here in Ohio, and I can''t wait. When does everyone else's season start? And what are your plans?

As BWiz my season will start in 56 days. I to live in Ohio and would like to see what state or province you will be hunting. Good hunting to all and hope all get what they want.

I'm ready for our Kansas archery season opening Sept. 20th. About 51 days, I guess. Archery season runs Sept. 20 - Dec. 31, and then there are extended antlerless only seasons in January. Bowhunters can hunt during firearms seasons if they are brave and wear orange.
But there is a special youth/disabled hunt with any legal weapon the week prior. I get to be a guide for one of the kids usually with a gun even though I don't own one. I'm probably too close to being one of them to help one of the disabled very much. Have done this two years now and have seen two whitetails go down to a 243. What a reward. I would almost trade it for my own hunting. Well, almost, almost.

My season starts Nov 10.....won't be back in the states until then. Will start off with a week in KS back with the family, then over a 5 day span in Florida while with inlaws eating turkey! I have a quota hunt in VA in the first part of Dec on remote area that I hope to play alittle string music in too!
