these may be old news to most of you guys and girls, but I've just became reinvolved with archery here very resently so everything since 17 years ago is practically new to me.
a couple weeks ago my cousin introduced me to a fantastic new type of mechanicle broadhead called RAGE, they have a 3 blade, an 1 1/2diamiter 2 blade , and the 2" + diameter 2 blade. if you arent aware of these broadheads you should really take a look on their website ragebroadheads.com and watch the uncensored footage. it to me is amazing' some may have negative thoughts of them but if you want to shoot and kill something quickly i see no reason to try anything else. watch the footage its very awakining.

oh i almost forgot to add, they come three to a pack along with a practice tip resembling the real ones. and they fly just like a field point, so you dont have to readjust sites from broadheads to practice tips.

they put a big hole but wont go through a shoulder a buddie of mine shot one to far forward and only got a inch or two of the arrow in. If you hit them right from what I have seed they will open a deer up.

I have heard that the blades break easy, My buddy broke two this last season . One after the pass through and one with a miss. I personally use the T3 by G5. It has bean a good broad head so far. No blade breakage and no O- rings. I have also heard good things about the Braxe from Nap, Also you might want to look at the Snuffer SS from Magnus it is not a mechanical head but it is my all time favorite. It fly's strait hits hard and cuts a big hole

Ow man I love my razor blades I started shooting them last year. I made one bad shot this year and still the deer only made it about 60 yards before it droped. The hole they put in the game is awsome.

There are many great broadheads out there that will do the job. I have used the rage for about a year now and can only say they work great. When hitting bone it always takes alot out of penetration. With smaller cutting diameters on broadheads it slows them less. With fixed blades less and with mechanicals more I believe from what I have seen. But these fly awsome and do make a very big cut. I like them also.

I used Rage three blade year before last and was not impressed. I am done with mechanical broadheads. Penetration is a big factor in that decission. This year I went with Steel Force 145 grain heads. Loved them.
