Film Dip by Brushfire Hydrographics (Thanks Scott Brush)
FF Power Cable System By BTU Archery
Custom Grip by BTU Archery
Custom Cabled by Atkins Archery & Custom Strings (Thanks Jerome Atkins)
Bow by Oneida Labs
All refinished Cam parts by Oneida Bow Sales & Service (Thanks Joe Ciampa)
Splitters by Genesis Archery (Thanks Don Kudlacek)

The Fast Flyte power cable upgrade on this bow was inspired by John Woods in Canada. Back in the late 90's John sent me an Aero Force that was power cabled with FF material. The bow was very smooth and used the stock clevis to attach the FF cable.

In doing this LFM I used the newer Black Eagle hinge to take out the clevis and route the FF cable between the hinge. This gives the power limb a more level pull and helps to keep the Outboard straight.

I also changed the position of the timing idler wheels to make the timing run smoother with less of an acute angle to center it down the riser.

Most of the Oneida grips were very long which also put more friction on the timing cable. I shortened the grip to allow the transfer angle to the idlers less acute to reduce friction and drag on the bottom idlers.

Bow retains the same specs as the stock Oneida LFM but the pull is now more smooth and bow is a quieter and faster.

We chronoed the bow today and got 256 fps at 63#, 29.5" draw with a 400 gr. arrow.

The comment from the shop owner was "if I closed my eyes I would not have known it was an Oneida in my shop" the bow is that quiet with only 4 string bats and no other sound reduction on the bow.

Joe the finish is very durable and shows no machine marks. A lot of the K and I cams you could see cutter marks.

russell4214, thank you for the comment on the bow. I have worked on or seen a few of the Oneidas with fast Flyte cables. It is not complicated to do and I have found a new way with Jeromes help to build the cables to protect against wear.

I like to try new things and to be up front there is not a problem with the Oneida cables. FF cables have been tried on this bow before just not using the BE hinge in this configuration.

Bob

No problem, complimenting something so nice is easy to do. I tried to be a little original if you look at justin's black eagle I tried to make a black eagle 1 1/2  Joe did all the work, but it is no wear near as custom as your bow. Two thumbs way up

Bob,

If you need someone to put some arrows through it, it is welcome in Wisconsin! I'd be happy to cover the shipping! Lyle :P

Camo is the new Wing Pattern most often seen on Waterfoul equipment. We noticed if you put it in a corn field it is gone :!:

Lyle if you are going to be at ATA I will have the bow with me. Joe wants to test drive a bit and there are offers to buy already.

Thanks again for the great feedback.

Bob

This is interesting!!! :)
How does it shoot?

Do you have the specs for such cables, cable splitters and any other things I need to rebuild my LFM?
Do you need to do any permanent alterations to limbs or cams?

Give me all the info!!!!!!! 8)

Ther, bow is very quiet and very stable to shoot. Speeds are well within the high FPS for this bow.

Cables are custom built and I do have the specs. Do you build strings? If not Jerome can build for you. Splitters come from my shop and I can make you a set of the anchor posts. You do not have to modify the cam. You need a set of new Oneida hinges from Joe, he knows which ones I use.

Very easy to do the rest of the Mods to the grip and the timing.

Give me all the info!!!!!!!

Thank you Badger, the camo is even better in person.
