I love my Pollington Red Dot sight. Now my brother even has one. After he saw mine, he had to get one also.

My favorite sight is an old proline crossshair sight. I have tried others but feel the most confident with it. I used a pendulum sight for awhile this fall and think with more time to tune (the weather is finally starting to cooperate) it will be my choice for hunting. I have a Pollington 33mm but cant get it to fit my style of shooting. I shoot fingers and sight down the bow string. Never can get the site far enough to the side to get the dot in the picture. Another one I want to work on this summer.

Mark have you tried using the short posts or shimming the sight if you are using the longer ones? I switched to the short posts and shoot with my nose on the string, works great

I use the five pin sight for hunting and a single pin for target. The 5 pin is the old style Copper Johns Dead nuts pro ll. The single pin is a CBE with a Schrewd scope.

I use a fiber optic crosshair sight (can't remember the name right now) that I bought about 20 years ago. It uses flat 5/16" or so wide rectangles of fiber optic material turned sideways, not the round fiber optic dot sights like more modern setups have. When buying new sights (like I'll be doing for my son in the not too distant future), I'll definitely go fiber optic.

For targetshooting I use a Sure-Loc Challenger with scope
For animal and fieldrounds I don't use a sight or the Sure-Loc 5pin lethal weapon scope on my Challenger

I use a G5 Optix for hunting, and HHA single pin for indoor.

i started out shooting a spott hogg bare bones, then switched to a CBE tek hunting with a cosmic scope. this set up was borrowed for the deer season. i eventually bought my own with a viper 1.75 housing with .019 green up pin and 3x lens. i used it both for spots and for hunting i will just take the lens out. i have really fell in love with single pin adjustables. gives you more of a pictures

In 28 years of doing archery, I've never used a sighted bow. Instictive shooting is the only way to go.
