Does anybody know if the extreme is any faster then any of the other Oneidas? What I'm wondering if buying one is worth all the money or not. I really like the Krestel is it any faster or different other than the looks of it ? It is a really sharp looking bow!!!! But is it worth all that much extra money? I shoot a oneida af, been shooting it for fourteen years, still shoots as good as it ever did! My arrow is 2317 , 31 in. at 64 lbs. Can any of the new ones put that arrow out there faster than 230 fps, I use a 100 grain head. Pee Wee, Thanks!!!!

Hello Pee Wee, the aeroforce is a great bow but very heavy with a very large grip and very long tip to tip.
With 31 inch draw which I am nowheres near and rarely hear of anyone else near that draw length it is hard to compare.
My black eagle was faster than my aeroforce and my extreme and falcon a little faster. With the newer bows I have gone to a slightly lighter arrow. The kestrel about the same for speed. These newer bows are much lighter and I like shooting them better than the aeroforce. They are faster lighter smaller and smoother in my opinion. Are they worth the money ?
Many seem to think so. Its all up the the individual. Shoot what you like I do.

My Kestrel was 285 fps with a 425 grain arrow at 65 lbs and 30" draw. I've had both the Extreme and the Kestrel and both have good features. The draw on the Extreme is like no other, wicked smooth and easy to hold. I think the Kestrel is a titch faster, quieter, and is shorter.

Hi!

My Kestrel (formerly NN's :) ):

76#, 29" draw, 420 gr arrow: 287 fps

76#, 29" draw, 399 gr arrow: 294 fps

Both arrows shot through a whisker biscuit.

I will try the IBO setup(70#, 30" and 350 gr arrow) just to see what the Kestrel can do!

I will set the Kestrel up for hunting at approx. 65#, 29" draw using a 420 gr arrow, that will give me sufficient speed and a quiet bow.
I really like the shorter and lighter Kestrel, compared to the Aero Force and the Light Force Magnum. :D
