Joe, heres a pic of my rig. find where the carp are at in Maine and ill come up there and we'll do some shooting. Notice the two oneidas on the deck.

Looks great, and i also would like to hear more about this boat and others who have built their own boats. Maybe we need a bowfishing boat section here. What do you guys think ?

Not a bad idea. Keep a general bowfishing section, and then have a boat subforum for boat related talk.

its a 1648 with a 30 HP merc. shooting platform and generator platform are all aluminum that i fabricated and attached together with pop rivets and bolts and then had a welder hit everything. That pic shows only 4 150 watt HPS lights but i have 5 150 watt HPS lights and 4 300 watt halos on it now and i will be adding an additional 2 150 wattt HPS lights.

We have plenty of carp here in CT on the Housatonic & Naugatuck River if you want to come up.

M boat is similar to yours except it is in stock form. Hope to have it in the water in a few weeks.
