Me being the hillbilly I am to control my sent I always us smoke. Lets say you are going to hunt in pines just snap off some of those green neddles and light them up. Try to get the smoke all over you and your gear. Same thing for hard woods. I have had deer walk with in mere feet I'm talking 10' to 15', and I was on the ground with my back to a pine tree. My camo that day was a cut off black sweet shirt with a brighgt green monkey (Golds Gym) on it jeans and boot and a slouch hat. Now thats good camo . I do wear camo because I like it not because I can't kill deer with out it. Will that's my two cents worth.
