I am getting so very tired of these "people" in DC going around the world axx kissing bowing and scraping to every country that has somthing bad to say about us! What ever happened to "speak softly and carry a big stick. And while I'm on my high horse what is up with this cash for clunkers? We are going deeper in the hole giving away our tax dollors for people to buy a new car? credit got us into this problem and now they are giving people a reason to go deeper in the hole with a new car? Iguss I must be a dumb axx I just don't get it.

Just so make sure I'm not miss understood I'm not sorry I'm an American, I'm very proud to be one and a disabiled vet. But that's what I get from our elected leaders. Or am I wrong?

Tom my wife and I used to go to all our town meetings but have stopped since she was always mad at me afterwards for speaking my mind. I would also like to thank you for bringing this up, as it has been bothering me as well as many others I know.

Did you see the bill that gave away 20 millon dollors to save sea turtles. Now get this only 20% of this money can be used on American sea turtles.
Now that leaves 16 million to go over seas. Are they going to buid hud houses for turtles?

Tom I have heard about this and many more. I keep Fox on the tv here in the shop and listen to much nonsense daily. And again understand and totally agree.

Cash for clunkers is bad. That's just another example. They are thinking of pumping another 2 billion of our money into it. That's going to amount to ~666 Thousand used cars that have to be destroyed, no longer available to young children or people who can't afford anything better.

In the feds eyes, debt is good, because money is not even real. China won't even buy our debt anymore like they've been doing for many years.

I guess you can't edit posts anymore. Anyway, the video is about a guy named Adam Kokesh. He is a big Ron Paul supporter. He has been in the military for a number of years and has realized just how corrupt and tyranical our government is.

I have to add my feelings as this is something that seems to have needed to be said over and over. Our children and grand children are the ones I feel need to be reminded of the price paid by OUR fathers,mothers, grand parents, to make this the greatest country on the Earth. I have watched in disbelief as our school system, has been shackled with new laws that won't let them teach the values we were when we went to school, the children are our future and they don't know our past. Our own government has become a whipping post for everyone around the globe, and instead of standing up to them, they bow down and not only take the abuse, but tell them how we're sorry for what ever we did.
We need to remind ourselves and our children how America was, and can be again, a world leader, the one place EVERYONE wanted to be, the land of opportunity and new beginnings.
I keep getting told how I am a relic, and throw back to a time that will never be again, and I tell them"Maybe BUT I will never back away from my love for this country"and my belief that we can be that way again.
When I went to school we started EVERYDAYwith the Pledge, and the Lords prayer, also the national Anthem over the P.A. and IF you were chosen as one of the few who got to raise the flag out front...well your chest just swelled! Try getting one of todays kids to even go outside, much less do any work.
Lets remind our children how great this country is, and how we all need to come together to make it as great as it once once.
As a vet I have to admit there are times I can't believe that men and women are in harms way(even as I type this)defending a government that has become a shadow of what it once was, and at times won't even act like they support them and their mission.
I always remove my hat and stand up for the Pledge, and the National Anthem, and I will always.
I AM A PROUD AMERICAN and can't say it loud enough.
