Claude Pollington of Marion Michigan is pleased to inform all Oneida Eagle dealers, staff shooters and loyal customers, that he has acquired all the assets of Oneida Labs from BSB Bank And Trust of Binghamton, NY. It is his intention to inform our valued dealers and staff shooters of the purchase on Dec.7, 2000 before the public learned of it.

In today’s world of immediate access through the Internet many people have already heard of his purchase before the letter of confirmation could reach you. As the opportunity to acquire the company became apparent everything began moving very quickly. It is our intention to keep you informed and up-dated on everything ranging from warranty concerns to purchase orders as they develop.

Pollington is a longtime bowhunter and archery product manufacturer (Pollington Pro-Products). He has been deeply involved with Oneida Eagle bows in the new product development and retail sales for over 16 years. He was instrumental in helping to design the famous Oneida Black Eagle, the company’s No.1 selling bow.

“We look forward to working with each of you to ensure quality made products in the future, he said. “We may experience a brief start-up delay as we begin the necessary details of operation. We ask you to have patience with us during this time of reorganization. It is our intention and commitment to answer all your questions and concerns.

“Many of you dealers already know me but for those that don't, I want to assure that every one of you will be a valued participant in the growth of the new Oneida Eagle. You have my word as an honest businessman that I will be truthful to you about new models, shipping dates, pricing and other matters of equal concern to both of us. I promise to treat you fairly.”

Pollington also owns the Buck Pole Archery Shop and Deer Ranch. The ranch is a 1,500-acre enclosure in Michigan’s best deer habitat, and is managed for trophy bucks.

The archery shop caters to the discriminating bowhunter who wants the finest bow and archery equipment. He also sells the Pollington Red Dot and Pollington Pro-Grip Release. He was named the “The Whitetail Wizard” by Outdoor Life magazine.

“As the new owner of Oneida Eagle I want to offer my Personal assurance to our valued public that we are deeply committed to a longtime program of making high quality bows, He said. “We anticipate little interruption in service or shipping during this transition stage. With the assistance of Oneida Eagle employees, we will address the most pressing issues as quickly and completely as possible. Beginning Dec.12th we will be keeping office hours at Oneida Eagle and Pollington Buck Pole, if you have any immediate concerns or questions please don’t hesitate to call me.”

DEAR STAFF SHOOTERS

I am presently working on 2001 contracts. I am aware that in the past your new contracts would have arrived by now. However, with my recent acquisition of Oneida Eagle Bows I have many responsibilities. My first and foremost is customer satisfaction and getting Oneida Bows back on top where they belong. So rest assured that you will not be forgotten. As I progress with the contracts I will keep you informed.
