Joe, I think it is great that you made the move for this poll, but on this one I got to say that one single issue is not how I choose a bow.
From all those issues above, I think it would be wise to look at them all together and THEN make a choice.
For instance, what good would speed do without accuracy? or smoothness without accuracy?
So, if the customer looks at the whole picture, I think it is a good idea to allow him to vote at, at least, 2 issues... say, for instance smoothness/accuracy, or speed/accuracy etc.
For me, I vote smoothness, but that's just me - I got short arms, so speed is not my thing.
Thanks, just my 2 cents.
Luis

Luis, we were trying to get what the most important single feature was to an archer. We realize what you are saying and agree and will do another one differently later. When we do the next one shortly we will combine several options. Thanks

I may be wrong on this, but I did not vote accuracy because it seems to me that this is more a virtue of the archer than an issue on the bow...

Luis, what we are looking for here is information from all members as to what is most important to them. Yes accuracy is a virtue of each individual shooter. And as we all know the bows specs can also make a big difference on accuracy.

I voted Smooth also. As Quarup has already stated, Accuracy depends more on the person shooting the bow, then the bow.Any bow can become accurate if Reo Wilde is doing the shooting.

Agreed Road Hogg, but even as a pro shooting a bow with a long ata and high brace would perform accurately easier than a short ata with a low brace height. And for many of us the longer ata and higher brace heights really help.

i stood an instant, watching the vote...
... and i did not choose anything.
if i had wanted something faster, smoother, quieter... i would have probably buy another bow.
i shoot with naked bow, naked fingers, without release, i think that's why i love oneida.
when i try other bows i don't have any sensations : "if it goes left, set it up on the right..." no sensation.
i refound recurve sensations with oneida, it was an evidence to shoot this bow with fingers, there is simply no other bow like this one...
after that : more quiet? great!
faster ? youhouuuuu !!
smoother ? yeepeeee!
... only if it's all the time an oneida.
thanks

hard to choose as all are important but i guess if you cannot hit what you are shooting at the other characteristics do not count for much.

Great poll and I did get on Joe thanks I find it intresting that no one picked quiet, my Black eagle sounds like a recurve when I shoot maybe that's why. Ted

I'm sorry, I have to disagree with some here that all bows are or can become accurate. Not all can. There are just some bad designs out there. The Oneida is just one of the most accurate bows made. I've shot a lot of bows, but this is the easiest bow to set up to your exact specifications of any bow I know. I had an X80 before the BE and it was amazingly accurate.

The Oneida Eagle Bow is Smooth and very accurate. The long ATA and high brace heights are two of the reasons we believe. The aeroforce will always be one at the top of my list of most accurate bows I have shot.
We now shoot the Oneida Extreme and Oneida Falcon which are much lighter, about four inches shorter and recomend those with oportunity, try them out.

Hello Joe and all. This is my first response to one of the polls on the forum.
I must say that accuracy of the bow I shoot is very important, however, being a 66 year old man, due to the smoothness of Oneida, I am able to draw 60 pounds even with a neck injury. Without being able to do this first, accuracy would not be a factor to consider. One has to be able to draw the bow first before one can shoot. Oneida bows enable me to do this because they draw very smoothly and I am therefore able to shoot accurately.

I choose quite. They already have great looks and are very smooth. They may not be as fast as some but they hit like a sledge hammer. I also think accuracy comes with practice. But thats just my opinion.
