CPOneida Eagle Bows and Oneida Bows, as well as several Oneida Eagle Bows shooters have donated eight oneida bows as well as other equipment so far. Members interested in making a donation please contact us here at Oneida Bows. We will collect the money necessary for the purchase of arrows, targets, releases rests sights ect.

Come on everyone, I know the economy is tough here, but have been in a similar situation, they need a way to relax and wind down, what better way than archery and in particular with Onieda

Joe,

Where do you want bows/accessories/donations shipped to? You, CP or directly to the military unit?

Thanks,
Lyle

And Bob, looks like at least one of your set of grips is headed for duty overseas. :D

Everything will be going to an APO address eventually. Once we know how many bows we have we will then know about all the other accesories we will need. I will get a price on all of it. Collect the money then have it all shipped. Either to the APO address or to CPO then on to the APO address depending on what it is. Thanks Joe

What do you think for the group? Fingers? Release?

I'll be sending my oneida af that is currently set up for finger shooters. I have also requested the price for some releases that I'll include and ship to C.P.

Would it be best to mark on the bow set dl, etc? Or is there usually someone that seperates and maintains the equipment.

Not sure which unit the items will be going to, but thought you may have a better idea to help make things work for them.

Thanks,
Lyle

Hey guys and gals, urging each and every one of you to dig deep for such a good cause, anything you can do to help the men and women of the armed forces is definately a positive. I have personal experience in the Armed Forces and in a combat zone, a soldier's activities and oportunties to relax are very limited. Ante up and lets show the troops our generosity and support.

Thanks

Joe,

I'll pack up and get out next week.
Xtill waiting for a response on some more releases.

Lyle

I want to add that I spent a good deal of time overseas, and would have loved to have had the opportunity to spend time shooting my, or any other bow at the time. I hope the donations truly help the soldiers set aside their immediate placement, and keep in mind opportunities that exist, because of their service, when they return home.
