Hi all.

I am currently looking at used, older models of Oneida bows. Question I have is whether there are certain models to steer clear of? Not questioning the quality of Oneida bows-more concerned about parts availability.

Just a little info that might be useful in steering me towards or away form a certain model. I don't hunt from treestands if I can avoid it, so length isn't an issue. Draw weight I am looking for is 40-65# range, draw lenght preferably 30"+. I shoot with a release. Not to concerned with it being a cast or machined riser, it just has to be reliable and safe.

I am currently shooting an old Golden Eagle. My shoulders and hands are starting to bother me, so I am looking for something a little smoother.

Thanks for the help.

screaming eagle or aeroforce could be right way...

But others guys could give more details or another bow ...

I'm shooting with and old screaming 689, and I'v some trouble with my string shoulder, I can't not use now my 50# longbow, I need to buy a new one near 35-40#.
but with the screaming, I use 40# and with letoff, only 26#... nice to shout :)

I'm not hunter, just 3D shooter

Since you’re also bothered by your shoulder, You might want to look for a lighter bow. I believe an Aero force can be quit heavy to raise with a shoulder.
Keeping that in mind I think you’re better off with something like a screaming eagle, tomcat, Phantom.

Probable there will be someone to correct me if I'm wrong

For shooting with shoulder issues i would recomend looking at a light force magnum or a black eagle. Both great bows and smaller and lighter than the aeroforce and H series bows.
