Ok guys, I'm in a debate with myself over which bow I should build strictly for hunting whitetails from a tree stand? Both bows are in mint condition With medium draw length and both are 50-70 lb draw. The aero-force is a 1992 and the T-III is a 1997! Which one would you choose and why? Thanks guys,
John C.

I would go with the oneida aeroforce over the tomcat. The aeroforce has a center shot riser and is shorter.

Thanks Joe. that's kinda the way I'm leaning, however both bows are the same exact length and the tomcat does feel lighter and sleeker! I do like the riser design of the aero-force though. I just don't know. I need more input from any and everybody! Thanks,
John C.

Hi John, Joe is right about Areo Force and as for the weight it is heavier than the T-III . The on thing to remember is how you plan to shoot the bows. Your arrow length, broad head type, rest style and things like that. All of these things need to be figured into how you plan to hunt with each bow. The oneida af with it's center shot riser allows you to draw a shorter arrow with a broad head. As for the T-III yes it is lighter than the oneida af and the riser is slimmer. So the first thing to think about is your plans for hunting. Hope this helps. Good hunting.

I'd go with the Aeroforce. The center shot rise allows more options down the road on your arrow rest. You have more fletching clearance and less tuning problems with rests such as WB or drop-aways. As far as the weight, I find that a heavier bow is a little more stable. but that is personal preference. I also use a bow sling going in and out of the woods. Some sights get real limited to the amount of L/R adjustment. Most are designed for a larger cut out of a center shot riser. You will have a more open sight picture with the Aeroforce. I wouldn't think of getting rid of mine. She never fails to do her part if I do mine. good luck with which ever one you choose. JR
