Hey,
I just won this from Ebay for $100 and the pawn shop selling it didnt know what model it was or what the draw length was. Can anyone tell what model of Eagle it is by looking at these picture. Im thinking that the draw length will be wrong because i shoot at 29" and even know a lot of people shoot around that length i am very unlucky =).

P.S. I think its a Screaming Eagle, but this will be my first Oneida so i dunno.

The bow looks like an Oneida H250 and if you look under the grip there should be a serial number. We have oneida H250 parts.

Also, is there are cheap good ways to paint these, i.e. to spray paint work (after sanded down) or does everyone have them dipped?

The H250s are easy to paint but a pain to sand. The finish doesn't usually come off with paint stripper. Your best bet is to have it media blasted. With either glass beads or walnut shells since sand will take too much metal off. Ive got a few H250s in the picture subforum that I custom painted. Go check em out.

Not everyone has them dipped.

You can do a nice job with a rattlecan but it is all in the prep & attention to detail.

If you haven't already contacted Joe for a DVD, do so. He will get one off to you & that should help you with the teardown & reassembly.

Alst check out the charts section for parts/bow id info

I like that pattern as well, is that one professionally done (like dipped) or done with home painting?

Finally just received the bow today. The serial # is A8107. and the draw length is set to about 30is i think, how expensive/hard is it to lower that an inch?

Edit*

Found the sticker that says things;

Weight Range - 40-65
Serial # A8107
String Length - 47
Draw Length - 26 - 27

i swear it feels like 30, but this bow is probably different than the compounds im used to.

What is the brace height on the bow and does the bow have the correct string on it?

I'm not actually sure, the string is pretty old but alas i cant find my measuring tape at all, in a few hours I'll go somewhere and get measurements. At full draw (as in i cant make the limbs move anymore) the string rests about an inch past my lips, I'm 5'10" and average non monkey arm length.
