I am curious, I have a 1998 aeroforce med draw lined up to buy, but realized its a 60/80#. I would use this bow specifically for bowfishing, which the poundage range I would have it set at would be around 50#. I believe I would have to buy new power limbs if i were to lessen the draw weight to the 50/70#, correct? Also, if i just kept it as a 60/80# and just lowered it down to 50#, would there be any issues? Or would I just be shooting an extremely weak shot?

Thanks in advance.

I would not recomend shooting the bow down that far even if it would go down to 50. If you do buy the bow for bowfishing I would look for some lower weight limbs.
