Hi, I use to be in Target compound socially as a kid, but have been out of the game for a while, It seems it's been so long that bows are now determined by what hand you write with rather than which is your dominant eye.

Anyhow I have a bad shoulder, but whish to take up target shooting again, and from what I have heard the pros and cons of onieda's, seems to me thay are perfectly suited to target, where noise and size is not of a concern, but a smooth draw and high accuracy IS.

I don't actually have a dominant eye, but I do tend to feel more comfortable drawing with my bad shoulder than holding the bow with my bad shouder. So I'll call myself a righty.

would love to hear recomendations on bows, so far my favourite based on the history files here is the 1994 Aeroforce Target.

Welcome, and yes, the Oneida is a great choice for someone that wants a smooth draw cycle. Oneidas are slightly louder , but with a few tweaks here and there they quiet right down. The Aeroforce is a great shooting bow and with its overall length and brace, makes a great finger shooting bow. The LFM is basically an Aeroforce with cutouts to lighten the overall weight of the bow. The LFM is just an all around great bow and probably my personal favorite. (Dont tell my Aeroforce that!LOL)

Anyway. Lots of different opinions here and lots of info on these great bows. Welcome to the addiction!
