I wondering what arrow would be a proper arrow for my Oneida Eagle. Here are the specs and what I would like to shoot. Not looking for blazing speed but good performance.
65# bow 125 grain broadhead / field point 31" arrow 30" draw length going to shoot 4" feathers
I am looking for a good aluminum Easton Super Slam arrow.
What do you recommend?
Thanks!
William

Easton xx78 arrows 2317 would be a great arrow.

Thanks for the arrow recommendation!
Got a follow-on question. For that particular arrow set at 31" do you think if I dropped down to 100gr broadhead that I would have any issues? I don't want to go too light as I have been a happy camper with 125gr broadheads.
I am thinking about trying out some G5 Tekan's...but they are only in 100gr size.
Thanks!
William

No you will not have any problems if you drop to a 100 gr broadhead. The G5 Tekan is a fine head to hunt with not to wide of a cut that you will not get a pass thru on your shot. Hope this helps out. Gene

Somewhere I've picked up a rule of thumb to use 5" fletching on arrows weighing over 500 grains. Certainly arrows using 2317 aluminum shafts (13.3 gr/in) are going to weigh over 500 grains. What do advocates of the 2317 shafts recommend for fletch.
