Welcome to the forum Griz,

I have not shot the Oneida Falcon or the Kestrel so I cannot comment on them but I own a good variety of Older Oneida bows. One of them (Aeroforce X80) has the 60/80# limbs & I used to shoot it at 70#

When I replaced it as my main bow with the Oneida Extreme Eagle, Joe said that the 60/80# limbs were available but recommended against the higher draw weight.

I found that with the right arrow for the bow, I shoot smooth & fast @62# without the extra effort with the higher draw weight. It has made it more enjoyable to shoot. For me I am happy I didn't go the 60/80 as my bow will make 70# If I need to.

If you are going to shoot higher poundage I would look into the Extreme/Falcon due to the relocated timing cable making for a smoother drawing bow.

If you are going to shoot the bow at 80#s thats fine but as you know if your going to shoot 70#s get a50-70 bows shoot better when limb bolts are bottomed out and they seem to be quitter. thats my own thoughts but im sure many would agree .I no a person that had a 60-80 and was shooting it at 60 and the power limb kept breaking his rockers that was on a areo force witch had the old plastic rockers that snapped on to the power with two little nubs.

The Kestrel is an awesome bow. I had the 50-70 and was getting 280fps with a 425 grain arrow at 65 pounds.
