The CPOneida Eagle Bows Northeast shoot will be on the weekend of June 27,28th in Farmingdale Maine. This is a weekend of shooting your bows getting to meet other shooters and their familys. There will be bargeque's both days as well. We will have targets set up for field shooting as well as a 3d shoot both days. Everyone is welcome and there is camping here as well as many places to stay at reasonable rates in the area.

For any of you new folks,or those who were not there last year, let me tell you. My wife, grandaughter and my self came from Ca, to Joe's shoot. We had a great time at the shoot and in Maine. The one thing, there was not enough food. Joe only had a WHOLE PIG ON THE SPIT, and the best buffelo bughers I every tasted. Plus all the sides and deserts. If your going to take a summer vacation, you may just want to include Maine.

I'll be making the road trip with the wife this year. I just need some recon, for my wife, on the antique shops in the area.

Joe, Merle and I made our reservation today for the shoot. Were 80% sure we will be there. We are going to try The Holiday Inn in Augusta this year. The Senator Inn was nice last year but thought we would try something different.

Checked the work schedule - everyone is blocked from taking time off that week/weekend due to security needs during Country USA. Maybe next year...Lyle

Last year my wife and kids came for the food, but I went for the shoot. Well, I can't fool you, I knew Sue was cooking and I was there. I might have shot my bow a little bit. The 3-d shoot through the woods is about as close as one can come to real life practice. I saw some real world class shooters. And even if you shoot like me, that's ok too. I had a great time and can't wait to go this year. Hope to see everyone there.

Anyone driving up from N.Y. City area: I will be flying into Albany> My first set of driving directions have me going East, almost to Boston then North. Did not want to go that way. My second set has me going East to Keen, Manchester,Portsmouth then North. Any reason not to take this route? that you may know of. Or do you know of a better way. We will plenty of time and just want to bop along and see the sights.
Thanks Joe

Joe the way you mention is a much nicer drive if you have the time.
Mostly secondary roads but a very nice ride.

Joe, If you want I can get a AAA map with the routers laid out for you.
It's a nice drive up there, about 5-6 hrs from NYC
