I wanted to let everyone here know what a great time I had at Sherwood Archers 3D shoot in Stuebenville, Ohio. It's located in eastern Ohio. What a setting for a shoot, with the hilly terrain, it really tests your skills. I travelled with my neighbor, to meet Gene (Bowbum) and Tom (Tdelegram1) from this forum for breakfast and the shoot. Once we reached the club, we got checked in and proceeded to the practice range, where we took a few practice shots. I made a couple of sight adjustments and we were off to shoot this well laid out course. The main challenge was navigating the terrain in the heat and humidity. I forgot the camera, so I apologize for the poor quality of the pics (cell phone). We had a terrific time. I always enjoy meeting the members of this forum, and Gene and Tom were no exception. They both were fun to be around, and know and use their equipment very well.

Light travels faster than sound. That's why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Yes Bob it was a very fun day shooting. I am looking forward to making the trip your way next. I have shot at that club both indoors and out. A good group of guys there to shoot and learn from.

What Bob and Gene failed to mention was those were the only 2 targets that all 3 of us had good shots on. Gene and Bob were very consistent but I let the trio down on several occasions. Seems like it would be much easier if we could use a range finder or if i was in a tree stand with known distances to shoot! All in all is was a great day with good comapny.
