Hi everybody,

just few pictures to show you my last 3D shoots for one of weekly french Tournament...

summary the french rules :

40 targets, 2 arrows by target...(1mn to shoot the both ones)
-Targets are between 5 to 35 meters for bows without mechanical release or without sight (longbow, recurve, compound without any thing)
and for bows with sights or with mechanical release
-Targets are between 5 to 45 meters

points are :
10 for center (killed area)
8 for around center (hurted area)
5 for the rest of the target...

so maximal score could be 800 points... french champions make near 720 pts (without mechanical release) and 770 with mechanical releases.

I did only 512 this time for my 3rd 3D shooting with my screaming... :) (previous ones were 374, 480)

so now some pictures

it was "paques" day sunday, so of course one of the target was specially customed for that day...

some guys of the organisation club, are bow hunters with black widow recurves, so they wanted to have "their target"

this one :

with me (I don't like spiders, but this one, is so funny)

and of course, we had some normal targets...

No bowshark you can not shoot wooden arrows out of Oneida's. Those arrows are more than likely Easton Legacy arrows. Those arrows have a wood grain pattern on them.

Bowbum, may I correct you there... You can shoot wooden arrows out of Oneida's. I actually experimented with those in the past, but I never had the chance to get really deep in to it. I will some day.

Sven I will not argue that you have do it, but , doing that is very dangerous to do. We have had a few people impale hands fore arms and other body parts. That is the only reason for my comments. I do not want anyone to get hurt or even worse. So if you decide to try this please use a shooting machine for the testing.
