In British Columbia, we pretty much have at least one 3-D shoot a month, most times 2 or 3. We usually have outdoor shoots out in the back forty as snow is rare around the lower mainland though temperatures are around the 50s. Of course this December we had a 3 foot snow dump, our first in like 40 friggin year, so we shoot indoors, by the time of this post we are supposed to get 5 to 8 days of solid rain from our nearby Pacific ocean and then all the snow will be gone and hopefully in time for our New Years Day shoot.

At our 3-D shoots. some lasting two days, allows me to shoot traditional recurve one day and compound Hunter class the next day. Entry fee is $5.00 to shoot all day, so you cannot beat the price.

The first set of photos is our October outdoor shoot, the 2nd set of photos is our November outdoor shoot, the third set is our Indoor Maple Ridge shoot. the 4th set is our Abbotsford indoor shoot December 14th. We are hoping for good weather for our New Years shoot, if not our two day Jan 10-11 Big 3-D shoot in 2009. We usually get our neighbours to the South in Washington State and our Neighbours over the Rockies in the East in Alberta to our shoots in the lower mainland, though I have seen some from Idaho who attend.

Anyone got 3D shoot photos to post on here, be my guest the more the merrier.

Looks like fun Barry.

I'll get some on this spring of the local club I belong to. Approximately 30 targets are set up each year on 26 acres, throughout the woods, with elevated stands, water, trees, mosquitos, you name it. A lot of fun.

Sure beats paper..Lyle

I am sure it is Joe, but my pocketbook would suffer. HAHA., perhaps one day, I wonder how many Oneida archers are in British Columbia, perhaps we could have our own Oneida shoot.

This would certainly be the forum to find out where the BC oneida shooters are, though I will see if any show up at our Big Provincial Money shoot in Jan 10-11 in Abbotsford at the fairgrounds

Joe will be uploading my Photos of our Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada 3D shoot, we had over 350 over the two day shoot with over 200 on the 1st day.

We had groups from the US and nearby Alberta, we would have had more but a blizzard kept hundreds from attending this fun event. In Feb we have a outdoor mountain shoot in Mission BC. We have mountains here that hit around 5000 feet and higher in our Cascade Mountain Range, that stretched from here to Washington state.

I hear we will be mountain climbing to shoot our 3D animals, some placed close to 1000 feet up on one of the mountains, certainly will give Archers their legs a good workout. Hope we don't run into Grizzlies or a cougar or two, especially since we won't have broadheads with us.

I will certainly be posting photos of that shoot for sure as well. Hope the snow is gone by then.

Hope you all like the photos.
Thanks for posting them Joe
