Hello everyone. I am pleased to announce that this years online competition is right around the corner. I would like to invite every Oneida Bows member, along with your friends and family, to participate in this event.
Just like last year, this will be an 8 week competition, using FITA style targets. This is a friendly competition where you are the judge. Each week a handicap will be applied to the scores and the results will be posted here for everyone to view.
The first weeks scrores will probably be due in the beginning of January. There will be more information to follow as soon the details are finalized.
Thanks, and please get the word out. The more the merrier.

Now that I have an indoor shooting area - should be a little easier than the snow!
I'll put the BEII and red dot to the test.

You were shooting pretty good last year for dealing with the snow. Better than I was even in my nice comfy basement. I'll be shooting my same and only rig. Hopefully I've improved a little, even just a small amount.

Cool. The more the merrier. We can make this challenging and we can all improve from it.
Maybe I need to modify the rules, though. Rule 4 should be that everyone has to pound a few beers before they start. There's probably a mathmatical formula to figure how to get everyones BOC to the legal limit. There are some variables, but it could work. Of course, I don't condone drinking and would also have to have everyone sign a waiver.

Hello to all here.
It's been a while since my last post, but work kept me busy and so I didn't have a lot of time.
Would like to try it this year too - but don't know the rules exactly. Maybe I have to read earlier posts. But I'm in - outdoors as I don't have a suitable basement.
BE II and red dot here to test too.
Regards and merry christmas to all of you!

Great. Glad to have you Kurt. Invite your friends and family too.
Basically, you shoot 30 consecutive arrows at the target, count them, and report them. What I do is set up a few targets and shoot one arrow at each target. I go count them and start over until I reach 30 shots.
There is more detail in the rules, which are in another thread in this section of the forum. If you have any questions at all, and that goes for anyone, please ask away.
