We recieved an aeroforce to rebuild for a customer this week that someone had drilled a hole in both 60/80 pound power limbs to mount limbsaver silencers. We replaced these power limbs with new 50/70 pound power limbs. This should not be done

Unless moulded wit the hole in place i would guess that stress fractures might arise

Oneida power limbs are solid billet glass and would be pulltruded strands that pass through a bath of resin and then cured in a press shaped in bars 1.5 by .375 by 5 feet. They are then cut to desired lengths. (simplified version)

I agree it would be a stess point if the limb twists because of bad hinge placement or offset outboard.

Also because the power limb is so short it is not doing a bunch to place it there anyway. IMHO

"...Yes, I would like to know what the warranty time is on my limbs. I was was just shooting my bow and I started hearing this sound and then the power limbs just exploded..." :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

or

"What's the difference between a solid limb and a split limbs?" :?

or

New for Oneida -- the new split limb version of the power limbs -- some disassembly required by you the customer.

or

"Hey, I saw that done on one of those wannabe Oneidas."
