Most bow manufactures require archers to shoot no less than six grain weight ratio. Shooting arrows lighter than six grains per pound will surely require these items to be changed more often than when shooting a heavier set up.
I shoot arrows in the 6.5 to 7.2 gpp range for target shooting and hunting.
For bows at 60 to 65 pounds I like to keep arrows 6.5 gpp and higher.
For bows over 65 to 70 pounds I would recomend 7 gpp or higher.
