Problem was he went down in the thickest crap I have seen in 27 years of moose hunting.

I arrowed him a 6:47 pm Sunday 26th and we did not have him out until 12:30 pm Monday the 27th, we work straight through the night.

Butcher called with quarter totals and we took 628 pounds of quarters to him. That will give us around 500 pounds of bone out meat.

What a animal & talk about being up close & personal!

Congratulations on the successful hunt Bob.

PS: How long did it take to drag him out of the woods?

Congratulations! This must be the Bowhunt of a lifetime?

Thank you, we go up every year for two weeks to hunt moose. this is the second year in a row we have been blessed with a bull moose. In ten years we have taken 4 bull moose.

Great way to kick of the season nice shootin.great looking bull what was your bloodpressure at 15 yards

I agree, now it is time to look at deer.

When he came up from the fall back we were hunting I had to stand still, he was only 6 yards from me head on. My heart was doing flip flops right until I drew the bow and I calmed down and focused on the shot. Once that happened it was doing flip flops again because I knew it was a kill shot and he would not go far.

Thanks again for the congrats to all.

Bob

Took this bull at 15 yards, good quarter away shot. In between the last and second last rib. Took out both lungs, diaphram and part of his liver. He ran about 450 yards crashing through the bush and was down within 3 minutes.

This is my second Bull with an Oneida.

The LFM FF worked flawlessly. I built it from scratch. Joe supplied all the parts except the riser. It is modified with FF power cables and I relocated the Idlers to improve the timing system. Gargod Bowstring, Brushfire Hydrograpics Camo, and a custom built Genesis Archery Stabilizer. I talked with Joe many times while building this bow, thank you Joe for all the great parts and good information.

Bow

Oneida LFM FF
64 pounds
30 inch draw
80 % letoff

Arrow
