Bob, i worked with Harold last night as he stripped the bow down and went over the issues the bow had and told him the lf would be the best of the back in the day bows for bowfishing. A custom finish would be great on this bow also. There were marks on the inside of the limb cup area of the bow. Where the limbs were rubbing on the sides and the saddles on the outboards were not tight. Very little grease in the pockets also. When he is done working on the bow he should have the bow shooting great.

As stated the first Lite Force bows were with the smaller riser clearence for the arrow shelf and sight window. Most I know of were sent back from Canada, not sure what was done in the USA.

To me these would be the ones that would do great for bowfishing.

My bow is just like Badger's. It says 50-70 on the sticker on the limb but, the slashes say there 35-55 limbs.

I just bought the exact bow to this. One of my questions is since its 50-70 lb is it considered a LFM? Or is it a LF because it has the smaller riser cut out and no screw in the handle. What is this camo called? How many were made like this before the riser and screw in the handle change? My model number is LMP5481.[/img]

Ive got one too. My bows serial # is LMP5407. Mine is marked 50/70 but if you look at the slashes on the powers they are 35/55. I really like the bow but wish it did have the 70# powers.

it is a light force they made a few before the light force magnum the differance is the light force magnum had a deep cut riser and the grip was screwed on other than that they are the same

This bow was sold to me by one of the Fulton, N.Y. factory reps in 1997.
At the time, I was told that this was one of the first produced and the word prototype was mentioned. Can't remember for sure but, it seems I was told that after this, they started to mill the riser slightly deeper because some of the larger broadheads made contact with the side.
As you can see, other than a new set of power cables It's still circa 97. Same bodoodle rest, and a locked down sightmaster. If it ain't broke don't fix it. About six months later, I got to put put my grubby paws on a new stealth and saw a broken one too. Sure do miss the factory being in the back yard. Thanks for posting my pics Joe.
