Lyle, you have a collector there!

The first run of risers did not have center shoot machining and that is one of them.

When I was a staff shooter they sent the first run to my distributor and she sent them all back as it was tuff to get an arrow through without the fletch closest to the riser making contact. They called it a Lite Force.

When the second batch came in machined properly the call the bow a Lite Force Magnum.

You get all the best bows........................MR80's and all!

This bow was purchased through Jay's in Michigan, by the original owner. He moved to Wisconsin a few years later and was moving out of the country due to employment when I purchased it.

Kind of wish I had hung on to that one. Wonderful grip, draw and overall feel. Lyle

How about prototype? I was told it was buy the rep I got it from. I can't remember exactly what it was but, I guess they had started to do something different with the overdraw either just before or after this one was made. I'll post a pic when I figure out how to . The guy who designed the LF used to service it for me until he closed his shop. His first name was Kerry and I can't remember his last name to save my life right now.

Hi GTB, welcome to the forum, nice bow you have. From what you have stated I believe your bow is a 1997. As for the Serial number the 1997 light force serial number was LM according to our records here. As for the P on the end I dont know what to tell you about that. Will look into this and let you know what we find.

Hi,
New here. I've got a lite force I bought out of the back door of the Fulton factory in 97. Serial # LMP 5191. Isn't that a 99 number also?

Here's some photos of the mystery Lite Force that now resides in Chicago. It has a '99 serial number, but was an earlier offering. It was also labeled as a 50-70 lb bow, but was actually a 35-55 pounder, which was normal for a Lite Force riser. Wonderful shooter, great grip.
