you can get new ones from joe or cponeida cost I think around $12.00 a pair easy fix

The part is called a rocker. From what I understand, via Joe, it is a very common problem usually caused when draw weight is tuned down in the lower range numbers. It is a critical part and when you replace them, you want to put a nice coat of white lithium grease in the pocket where the rocker portion sits.

All of the older model Oneidas I have picked up used, and that use that style rocker, came in with the same issue.

Tore down the Aero Force this evening and was very easy. I just hope I can get everything put back the way it was. When I removed the power limbs, I noticed a broken black plastic/carbon piece that acts as a pivot for the limb. Anyone know what this part is called so I can order a pair from Joe? To measure your oneida bow string you lay the string out straight then squeeze the end loops together then measure the sting end to end.

The bow came with an extra string. How do I correctly measure the string so I know it is the correct length? End to end, inside loop to inside loop? Let me know. Thanks.

I have seen some older bows with white stickers that say "Oneida Eagle". Are you talking about those? Those would be fine. I would just have to cut out the eagle picture. What about the information sticker like the one on my LFM? How much would a set of those cost me shipped to Texas? Thanks!

I'm about to repaint my aero force bow and want to paint the limbs black. Can I get the factory Aero Force limb stickers in white? If so, where? Where can I get a new information label to install on the inside of the power limb to display draw length, weight SN ect... Thanks!

Just measured the brace height and it is at 7 1/2" Is that bad or what does this mean? It would seem that the string is too short, thus compressing the limbs to a point where the brace height is pushed too far out. Is this correct? Installed the 80% let-off modules and it is now perfect.

Joe the string length may be shorter than 47 1/8". I measured from limb tip to limb tip and it is exactly 47" long. I guess I need to measure the string that is on it when I rebuild it. I installed the correct cam modules to fit me, and I can tell the difference between 65% and 80% let off. Is it difficult to change to the 80% let-off cams?

Once I recieve the bow maintenance DVD from Joe, I am going to break her down, clean and refinish the bow. Can I safely strip the limbs and riser with Jasco paint remover, or should I keep the paint on and sand it smooth? I assume I would not need any special paint to rattlecan the riser, but since the limbs flex, would I need a paint with an added flex agent? What type and brand of paint is common to use on these bows?

Below are pics of the Aero Force bow. In the 2nd pic, you can see the different limb type installed. The last 2 pics of the LFM that Joe rebuilt for me. The LFM is awesome now. Also installed a Pollington 33 scope.
